About Us

Wales Tartan FC was formed in the Summer of 2005. The club started with a group of 11 lads and 2 managers. The aim of the club was to form a club for the players run by the players. By the end of the Summer a total of 30 lads had signed on to play. Two teams were created with the 1st team playing in Swansea League Division 4 and the 2nd team playing in Swansea League Reserve Division 4. A committee had been set-up consisting of players voted in by the players.

The main backer of Wales Tartan FC is the Wales Tartan Centres hence the name Wales Tartan FC. Thanks Tartan Tony for all your support. The club is based at The Star Inn in Llansamlet where the players meet reguarly for "player meetings" and after games.All new players welcome!
